Sleeping

I think I may not get alone but after work everyday when I sit and switch tv I fall asleep, even just sitting up, and it's in the afternoon, it's only for a half an hour but can't stop myself. I've had blood tests done and they came back negative? I'm only 49' is it the fibro.?

I think you may well find it is related, I used to work until lunch time and I was guaranteed the need to sleep afterwards, and at that point I was younger than you. You say your blood tests came back negative, but negative from what ?generally they can't diagnose Fibro alone other factors have to be taken into consideration.

Sending positive thoughts your way :-)

I am always tired too. I also go through bouts of fatigue and when it hits I have to leave what I'm doing and go straight to bed. x

I would say that yes it is fibro and your body is telling you that it needs to rest/sleep.I have the chronic fatigue just as bad as pain which is all part of fibro.I do think that I probably have Cfs as well even though it's not been diagnosed as the fatigue for me is just as bad as and sometimes worse than the pain xxx

Don't you feel tired before falling asleep? I'm like Mags - every so often I get so exhausted I have no choice but to lie down & sleep for an hour or two. Could it be anything to do with your medication? Anyway, don't knock it - could be that the afternoon nap is helping you to carry on working. I had to retire at 45!
