Won esa appeal, but dont know if paid from first claiming

I won my appeal and was duly paid backpay, but only from when the claim was disallowed. My claim started in Sept 11 (I know 13 weeks doesn't count). I was only paid from July 12. Does anyone know if I should have been paid from approx Oct 11 to Jul 12. TY

Hi Kaz, from a brief browse on the web I think, but only think, you should be eligible for payment for that period, but I think it depends on when the claim was made. I'm not the best on these things but hopefully someone much more up to speed with this sort of matter will come on and give you proper advice. I hope you get the backdated money.
