Pain relief patch

Has anyone ever had matrifen patch for pain relief been given them by hospital to try and control pain after all others have failed?

I'm sorry but cannot really answer this as such. Although I'm currently on butrans 20mcg, they don't seem to be doing very much now. Since applying this weeks patch it feels as though I haven't even got a patch on.

Have you started using the new patch as yet?

Sorry for late response. Just started them on Monday but if I'm honest don't seem to be doing what I hoped (led to believe) going bk to docs in two weeks and if no change they said will put me on a higher dose. But they have told me there is nothing else they can give me after these patches apart from oral morphine along side them.
