Pain patches really do work!

I have a weekly swim after which I should have added pain patches to my bag for post pool shower routine.

Ophs forgot to put patches in bag!

So no patches on.

So ate my pills as per normal.

My pain levels have not been great , therefore can state that pain patches work. I have Versatis (lidnocaine)

Any other thoughts on some meds you know actually work not placebo effect?

I've not been brave enough to go without any yet!

Will let you know. :)

No, I tell a fib, my hayfever is bad without antihistamine and I cannot move much without my steroids.

Skit, OTC Salonpas Pain Patches are really good for Fibromyalgia trigger points and soreness!! They come in different sizes. Many nights I have 10 + of the small ones.

Where do you get them from x

Thanks for the information. I've never heard of pain patches. Salonpas has good reviews on Amazon so will be ordering some.

Hi I can only say that they did not do anything for me. There are other people that they do work for. We are all different so you will have to try them for yourself and see if they work for you.

Good luck with your swim 🏊‍♀️🏊‍♀️🏊‍♀️

Take good care of yourself 🤗🤗🌹🌸🌷🌺xxx

Like Jan101 Lidocaine did not work for me at all, when I went back to Dr she wasn't surprised as, like beauty, their effect is only skin deep :-D

skit , thanks so much for your info re pain patches. I'd never heard of them and ordered a box of Salonpas on next day delivery from Amazon.

So glad I did. 2 o'clock this morning pain was awful, couldn't get to sleep so put two patches on my back and shoulder. Within an hour the pain was fading and I was able to sleep.

Heartfelt thanks !

to all those who use pain patches or thinking of doing so here is a hint.

Do not apply next times' patch exactly where previous day had patch let skin breathe and reduce chance of irritation.I have a skin issue in addition to OA fibro etc. etc.!
