Has anyone got any advice for restless arms and legs please, it drives me crazy, I feel I have to get up and walk around , but am too exhausted to do this . Then I sort of have this breathless feeling , but I am not out of breath??just completely stressed?

Hi, i suffer with restless arms and legs in the way of when i am at rest my arms and legs just kick out and spasm, i mentiond this to my doctor and he has put me on Pregabalin, at the momeny i am on 300mg per day, we are still working on the getting dosage right but these do seem to be helping, i have no idea if you have been prescibed these yet but it might be somthing woth mentioning to your doctor.

hi, i am on the same tabs as chorley and the same dosage. if it gets to much i go in the bath as the heat helps,i hate the restlessness but worse if it feels like your skin crawling too. not a good feeling but got to try anything that might help.

Lynn-FA, i was told by my doctor that Pregabalin is used as one of the treatments for Epilepsy so they also use it to help fibro suferers as it helps with the restless spasms :)

hi there i am on gabapentin for the same thing the burning and restlessness it isnt totally cured but a lot less that it used to be maybe a trip to you gp would help good luck

Hi, I'm on Gabapentin too for RLS and also Ropinirole. They do help but only when I remember to take them lol. I see a sleep specialist at Papworth Hospital. My GP referred me.

hi have had RLS since age of 18 and mentioned to my dr andwas able to get help in taking a tablet called Ropinirole, it has worked well for me in the past 2 yrs. hope this helps..i am in my 50's now it has been a long time but releived that there is something effective, take care.
