I am really struggling with controlling my temperature, I know how humid and horrid it's been but I am literally dropping from pores in my face, I have never been like this ever! I feel like one of those people who have problems with swear glands.
I constantly feel mucky and dirty, I'm not too sure this is just the weather, like I say I have been abroad so many times but to be like I am it's unheard of...

Sorry *sweat glands
Hi Ajay575
I've been off colour for a week or more not felt myself a little up and down if you know what I mean? I think May be I will contact the GP Monday to maybe have an infection indicator blood test done. I need to speak to them really anyway, the tablets I'm on and have been on for 3 years have plateaued and not helping at night anymore, and I seem to have a majorly increased appetite too.
I think if I were an animal they would have euthanized me by now, hate feeling this bad about myself. Xx
Sooo sorry 😐 dear. Remember to drink water. You can put a wet washcloth on the back of your neck and with a wet one wipe down your arms armpits and your face. Sit near a fan but not blowing directly on you so you’ll fell the breeze gently around you. You can also keep your hair wet too. Hopefully this will help you some. Take care dear may cool temps and rain come soon.
I'm exactly the same, think I've got a faulty thermostat. My head sweats even when it's not very hot.Been awful lately with this weather.Could also be meds,Fluxetine which i take can cause sweating.I know it's horrible isn't it?x
I hope you get well soon it’s very hard with our conditions to know hey I’ve had bad flare up the last few weeks and in enormous amount of pain too. I think we are all feeling at at the minute I’m either freezing or roasting. Good idea to get checked bless you get well soon gentle hugs xx
Hi, I have been sweating from every pore in this weather. I go to Madrid every year. In the summer it can be the hottest place in the world.😳🤪. I am used to heat and don't mind it but, I think the humidity in the UK makes hot weather unbearable. Don't worry, it's probably the weather!!!🤗😎👙💦
I've been pouring too. Embarrassing at work when the aircon is on too.... Suspect its part weather, part fibro part menopause. But I also live with a blood clot on the brain so have to be careful and drink masses of water to compensate.
Thank goodness the weather has improved a little this morning!
Still air does it for me. I was at lunch yesterday and the restaurant was really hot and stuffy, they needed a fan, and my napkin ended up with most of my makeup on it.
I can't regulate body temperature also , this weather is heaven for me as it feels like the correct temperature for my body but as soon as it drops I'm freezing.Yesterday however I must have got down a full box of Mr freeze ice pops I felt my face was sweating but this week I have had s massive ulcer on my throat and it felt really bad yesterday , felt rubbish all day. I do have to say I am.loving this summer but really dreading the winter weather arriving as I know I will feel really ill when it starts TTY I get cold .Hope you feel better soon and take care 💝💐cxx
yes i cant cope with heat feel totally creammy crackered as soon as i try to do anything . my house is a tip as i really cant do much when its so hot . cool showers help but you do get fed up dressing and undressing . i even wet my clothes and put them on wet to try and cool down
Hi Karemarriott like you I have really struggled with my Fibro and CFS this year because of the heat in the UK. I feel as if the thermostat has gone haywire in my body. It has made me feel stressed. Hope you feel better soon
I empathise with you fully as im exactly the same. I saw the rhmatologist last week and mentioned it to her and she said its common for people with fibro to suffer from sweats so maybe its the same for you and it is down to fibro?? Xx
I am exactly the same. We have travelled extensively in the Far East and I have never suffered like this before. It’s all part of th fibromyalgia. I guess showering often is the in,y answer. Of course, it will cool down!!
Hi Kate, I’ve been the same sweat running down my face and I’m like iv3 just had a shower and not dried myself. Unfortunately with fibro you can’t regulate your body temperatures so any extremities of heat either too hot or too cold we suffer, Ive also been in a flare up since the hot weather started. Hope this helps xx
Hi guys. Well after nearly 2 weeks of feeling completely out of sorts besides the usual complaints, I went to the gp. My infection markers were up at 67 , apparently that's really high. I've got antibiotics and hopefully getting there. However I got bitten last weekend and I got infected again 😫😫😫 but thank you everyone for us responses xx Xxx much love to you all
