Hi, just as the title says really, is it normal to feel stomach achy on the stimulation injections and tmi but lots of discharge, also feeling very crampy and generally tired, this is my second cycle and I had none of this on my first one, actually that one was quite straightforward but now I'm just starting to think I was lucky then. Is anyone in the same boat or felt like this and it's been normal please π

Stimulation drugs making me feel ill

I am almost at the end of my first stims and felt fine the first few days then felt not so great. Very bloated and tired, and emotionally sensitive and really needy lol. I think it's normal but if there's anything not quite right no doubt your nurses will pick it up on your first blood test so probably shouldn't worry too much. Also I found that when I eat lots of lean protein and veg I feel a lot better than when I eat carb heavy things like pasta, are you doing anything different from a lifestyle perspective from your first round that might be changing how you feel? I hope it gets better for you, hang in there xx
Hi, I have just called my clinic as I think i might have symptoms of OHSS, as when I woke up this morning I've gone toilet and my ovaries were really painful and could hardly walk without bending over, so waiting for a call back, this is horrible lol! The only difference this cycle is they have added inhixia blood thinner injections but everything else is the same dose as last time so not to sure what the hell is going on π, I'm glad you've found something that helps you and I wish you all the luck in the world for your egg collection and so on! Hopefully you can keep me updated how it goes x
Omg how scary!!! That does sound serious. Good thing you called, have you heard back yet? Maybe you're responding badly to inhixa? You poor thing, hopefully they can adjust meds and you'll feel better - IVF already is so hard, definitely didn't want this to contend with too. Fingers crossed for you, keep us posted how you are getting on and hope you feel better soon! Xx
Yeah the nurse just told me not to worry and it's quite normal to have these pains as she said not every cycle is the same, plus I'm petite so she said it might be having a little bit more effect on me, also they can't scan me until Monday which is when I was due to go anyway because they don't usually see much growth between then, and if they do find they are growing faster than what they would like she will reduce my dosage, but on the plus side I'm not feeling to bad at the moment so fingers crossed it stays like that! When do you have your lining scan? Xx
Ah yes, honestly it's so hard on your body especially if you're on the smaller side! I'm glad to hear you are feeling better and nurse isn't concerned. I've actually got my egg retrieval tomorrow! So a bit nervous. I haven't felt great the past few days though so kind of excited to move on from this phase. The joys! π Best of luck in your scan Monday Xxx
aww I hope you feel better soon, as I approached trigger time it did make me feel quite tired and bloated on some collections, my advice would be listen to your body and if you need to nap or rest then do that and most of all take care of yourself lovely itβs a big thing you are doing π€ xx
