Are Inhixa and Clexane the same?

Hi everyone

Are inhixa and Clexane the same ? I have Clexane at the moment and really not keen on how blunt or thick the needles seem to be, wondering if inhixa might have a finer needle ? I have had it before and don’t recall the blunt needle issue.

I know they will both sting and have had to get over that but even getting the needle to pierce is the painful part right now!

yes they are both just brands of the blood thinner medication enoxaparin. I found Inhixa much nicer to inject too. Clexane is awful and caused me so much bruising.

Hi not going to lie, I took my first inhixia injection today and I felt it was quite painful, but on the other hand I've not tried clexane before so wouldn't be able to tell you the difference, also this is the first time I'm taking inhixia so maybe it will get less painful the longer I take it, good luck ❣️

Yes they do both sting no matter what but I am finding the needles a little blunt

yeah they’re exactly the same xx I hate the clexane brand.. the needle is awful so sometimes I decant the clexane into another syringe and use my own sub cut needle. Bruises less xx

I always use a little ice pack for about 10 seconds before using Inhixa - it definitely takes the edge off. You can also use a little topical numbing cream xx

Is the ice ok when you are in your Tww?

Yep! It's only on your skin for up to 10 seconds x
