Hi all! Has anyone taken growth hormone? I'm starting Genotropin 4 weeks prior to my stim cycle in the hope of increasing euploidy rate.

Any success stories?!

Hi, this was the game changer for us. The first 2 cycles we only received one euploid across both cycles. After starting the genotropin we now have 6 euploid embryos in the freezer. Hope it is successful for you! X

Incredible thank you! I’ve only had one euploid out of 8 blasts formed over 3 cycles (I’m 40), so sounds like this could be a good option!

Out of interest how many cycles did it take you to get your 6 euploids…? Thanks so much!!

Absolutely and I definitely think when things aren't working then you need to make changes! My clinic said we would probably get fewer eggs but they should be healthier. I did two back to back egg collections. The first one was amazing, I only had 12 eggs compared to the 20s before but 8 of these these made it through Fertilisation and were grade 5AA. I then did a second collection which i didn't feel as positive about for some reason but we started with 25 eggs and ended up with 4 grade 5AA. I'm still yet to find out which of the 6 euploid came from which of the cycles (although i feel like it was the first cycle!). I never thought we would get to the stage of having anything in the freezer so I'm really celebrating this milestone before my fet next month and really hope you you have some success too! X

Congrats on the 6 euploid. May ask how old you were when you did your retrieval and how you were talking your HGH?

My consultant prescribed zomacton but I can’t find it anywhere and a few people have suggested this as an alternative.
