growth hormone

Hello I’m doing my last ivf cycle , the last two rounds I couldn’t get any blast they were arresting in day 3 and 4th. So now trying the growth hormone , I would like to hear some feedback for the ones who has tried . Thanks in advance ♥️

Hello - I used a growth hormone in my 2nd round, and we did get more eggs, but as a % not much better in terms of mature eggs as a % of those collected (first round 10 eggs, 6 were mature, 2nd round 17 eggs, 12 were mature). We did get more numbers to day 5 blastocyst tho but still same % as before (first round 3 blastocysts, 2nd round 6 blastocysts) - however we also changed our stim meds, we started earlier (in luteal phase, not day 2 of cycle) and we moved to PICSI over ICSI so scientifically, I can't say that it was the change that made the difference...but I am using it again for round 3 f'sure.

Was the second cycle a long protocol?

No, it was still a short antagonist protocol (no pill), & I took stims for 12 days with the growth hormone every 3 days 💜 my clinic is v good at scanning every other day from day 5 of stims, so I was monitored well.

for me I’m injecting already the cycle before the stimulation, and once I start the cycle I will increase the dosage . Let’s see the result

I have just used genotropin.I have non existent amh.Basically zero!!Just had a transfer of a grade 1 embyro.Day 3 transfer at our request as this is what we had with our daughter.Previous cycle last month was cancelled.Protocol changed up and genotropin added in and we had an embyro to transfer.x

I wanted to share my experience so far. I took zomaction growth hormone for my recent cycle to improve egg quality. I had my egg collection yesterday. Unfortunately it hasn’t helped me in obtaining more eggs or quality. I usually get between 8-12 with the majority matured and good fertilisation rate. We have a massive drop off from day 3 and get 0 to 1 blast. This time I got 6 mature and only 4 fertilised via picsi. The lab has said the eggs looked grainy which is a marker for poor egg quality so it seems the growth hormone hasn’t made a positive impact. I know it’s still early days but it’s the worse outcome I’ve had. This was my last cycle and hoping for a miracle.
