Follicle growth

Hi Everyone, I’m looking for some advice and tips to help with follicle growth.

I’ve had a day 7 scan today. It didn’t go as hoped, only 2 small follicles. I’m on less meds this time, the philosophy of less is more isn’t in my case. Scan booked for Tues.

Any suggestions to help with growth?

Thank you xx

Are you taking COQ10 and fish oil OMEGA 3? Supplements will help the follicles to grow. But I think quality is more important.

If you like dairy, 500ml whole milk a day is supposed to help. I had daily smoothies with 250ml milk, tablespoon flaxseed, tablespoon chia and blueberry powder, with a banana too. Then 250ml just plain. I think it helped mine last time xx

Thank you so much, I have been having whole milk but not everyday, and only a mug full. I’ll definitely try your smoothie xx

My clinic advised plenty of water, fibre and protein for growth.

Also are you taking DHEA? Xx

Hi Layla. Yes I’m taking Dhea. I think I’ll have to up the water, fibre and protein. It’s just a bit of a shock , I didn’t expect many but didn’t think they would be so small. First time it’s happened 😔. Thank you for your advice xx

Have you had a break from stims at all? The reason I ask is I had 3 back to back cycles of batching, with each cycle my response improved (first was terrible) then had a break and did another 3 cycles. On my 4th cycle my response dropped and build back up again on the 5th and especially the 6th cycle. Xx

Yes,I’ve had a break. Last cycle was July/Aug. I was due to start a cycle Sept but found I was pregnant naturally. It ended in a chemical. Following that my liver function when awol. So I had to stop all supplement until it was normal.

Only thing I’ve done differently this time is rather than take a ton of supplements separately I’ve been taking Proceive Max since Dec. I’ve noticed that I’ve been ovulating later so my cycle has lengthened xx

It can take longer. You might have to inject for 2 weeks to get the follicles big enough. 🤞

Thanks Lilly, I injected longer on a previous cycle, they were bigger at this stage previously though 😔, I’m on less 💉 this time so worried, feeling deflated x
