After my 2nd excision & ovarian cyst removal surgery for Endometriosis - My consultant has put me on Ryeqo - the reason for this is to preserve my eggs for next round IVF.
My question is - will my IVF clinic take me off Ryeqo before starting etc or has anyone had any experience being kept on the medication throughout thier rounds & if so how did either go?
I appreciate every journey is different but i am just looking for some clarity as still recovering from surgery & just wondering what IVF clinic can/may do.
Thanks.

Hi! I was put on Ryeqo to help with my endometriosis pain and to go into early menopause. I was on it for about a month.
After seeing another consultant who clearly understood I wanted to have a baby and believed I still had a chance at 44, told me to stop. I had one fibroid close to the opening of my uterus removed ( a hysteroscopy).
We did two rounds of IVF. The first was not successful. With the second we are now at 20 weeks.
I’d like to think that Ryeqo helped a little with jumpstarting ovaries and giving me a decent number of eggs for my age.
Sorry for my long ramble, but I’m quite sure the clinic will ask you to stop and maybe after a month (depending how long you’ve been on Ryeqo) start the IVF meds.
Happy to have a private discussion if you want. Good luck with it all! Xx
