IVF abroad

Hi looking to see if anyone has had IVF abroad? We have looked at Spain a clinic called Vida Fertility just wondering is anyone has advice? Our options have run out with NHS for a number of reasons xx

Hi, we’re not meant to share clinic info publicly so will do so as a private message.

But as for the rest:

Yes, it was successful! Our little girl is now 2.5 weeks old 💕 we used OE. I was ready to move to donor, but after discussing with the consultant in Czech Republic we agreed to do one last round with OE - then if no joy move to donor. But the first round worked.

It was great, I really liked the clinic and they offered a couple of different things not discussed in the UK. We also decided to test the embryos.

I was there for about 9 days for the egg collection - the plan was 5-6 days (last scan + some tests) but follicles needed a bit longer to grow. To be honest could have arrived later and done one more scan in UK, but wasn’t sure how it would pan out. Husband came for 4 of those days and the rest of the time I stayed on my own.

We then didn’t do a fresh transfer, as decided to do PGT-A testing - so went home after collection, then when I went back for the frozen transfer I only went for 1 night (arrived day before transfer and flew home day of transfer).
