I tested positive on Tuesday (7dpt às instructed by my clinic-they seem to test much earlier than everywhere else!) the HCG level was 30. My clinic is in a different country só I returned to them for my intralepid yesterday and had my repeat test today. Results are only showing at 42 which means it’s not doubled and not even multiplied by 50%. I was wondering if anyone has experience of different numbers from different labs. I’m to test again on Saturday but it doesn’t feel good. I feel that familiar empty feeling I had after my other miscarriages (this will be my third). my feint headache has gone. Boobs are a bit sore from time to time and I’m still thirsty but this all feel all too familiar. I had brown discharge after my test on Tuesday and a bit of cramping for a few mins but hoped it was implantation. I know really no one knows or can tell me everything will be ok until I test on Saturday and just because it might have been ok for one or not ok for another person everyone is different. But if anyone could tell me if there can be a variance if levels between labs it would be great to know. Thanks so much

also does anyone know if the time I had my transfer would impact on the level? My transfer was at 530pm on 21st Jan so wondering if testing in the morning would make a difference
Quite early for a test Brown staining and cramps are common and other symptoms can come and go There was an increase in your blood results and hoping this increase will be continue Wishing you good luck with next blood test Continue to take any meds you were given as directed Hope you have people around you for support
I would check with home urine tests as well, see if they are progressing or not but I haven’t heard of different labs and different results for HCG etc but it doesn’t sound like there was 48-72 hours between your blood tests? So the next one should hopefully tell you one way or the other. Having had so many early losses I know this is the hardest wait got my fingers and toes crossed for you!! Xx
Thanks for your report Twiglet2. I had another test at the original clinic last night and the level there was 37, which would have been 60 hours after the first test. Today cramping and clumps of brown/black só I’m pretty sure this is a chemical. I’ll get the confirmation Saturday but I also just don’t feel pregnant or have any of the symptoms anymore. 2 miscarriages and a chemical loss despite using two different donors and all the tests not showing any cause. Will take some time now to focus on other things now for a bit. I may come back to fertility treatment in a year or two but for now I want to focus on other things I think. I’ve already started the adoption process where I live and was going to go ahead with both of everything worked out but perhaps giving birth is just not my journey ❤️
Aww I am so sorry to hear that, at least it hasn’t been a drawn out one for you and you have your answer quickly 😢 chemicals are so so difficult my heart goes out to you. Wishing you well in whatever your next steps may be! Xx
