large follicles/cysts during stims?

Any experience appreciated. Crying my eyes out thinking this cycle ruined and lost precious money/chance.

Had scan on Monday day 9 (first scan of stim cycle) showed large follicle/cyst at 26mm, a couple mid sized and some smaller ones. Brought me back today day 11 and the 26mm has grown to 30mm, with a 23mm also on other ovary. One 18mm but rest are 14-15mm and below (mainly under 10mm). Lining was trilaminar on Monday and 6.4mm. Today lining has developed fluid pockets and can’t be measured accurately so looks odd (never had this before). Makes me think these two huge follicles/cysts have ruined things.

Clinic have suggested stimming longer and aiming for collection Monday. But last time I stimmed over 13 days, while I had more eggs they were poor quality and had no blasts for first time ever.

Feeling devastated (and also hard to afford) cancelling but equally don’t want to carry on with doubts and end up with nothing.

Has anyone had large follicles/cysts like this? Clinic wouldn’t tell me the hormone results taken today and I was working all day so couldn’t chase.

Feel like packing it all in tonight why does everything have to be so hard!! Thanks for any advice xx

Depending on the hormones results can they maybe do a freeze all. Seems you do have a few good follicles so would be a shame to waste the cycle (and money) but sounds like lining might not be right for a fresh transfer and maybe conditions of there are a couple of unresolved cycsts. I have had cysts before but they have always resolved themselves before collection and not affected lining, will they be able to tell more perhaps during collection? Xx

I had a large cyst in my second cycle, the clinic couldn’t comment until the hormone blood tests came back. Mine turned out to be non intrusive and wasn’t being fed by the drugs and my cycle continued to egg collection. Hang in there and take the advice from your clinic.

Thank you. Unfortunately looks like mine is hormone producing and being fed by stims. So uncomfortable by today. Cycle cancelled. Back to drawing board.
