I was looking forward to share the positive success story in new year after trying the egg donar route in Dec 24. Just tested a day before Christmas and yet again it failed with perfect 4AB blastocyst embryo Day6 transfer. Doctor were very optimistic this time with 60% chance of success.
I am so gutted that how long this would go on, just about to give up. But need to try again with frozen embryo again.
I am so confused, how long I can carry on like this ! and keep taking all these hormones.
It's been 4 years now, and at 44 age feel too old and less energy, so much hurt.
I have been emotional and it's impacting my work too.

I’m really sorry it wasn’t good news, it’s extra hard when using DE because the success rates give us renewed hope.
I had to try and remember that the cumulative chances are really good and it’s more likely to work than not work so keep going for your next transfer. It’s such a long and tough road , I feel for you, try and keep your spirits up and look forward to the next transfer.
Hi. So sorry for you. I can only offer you my thoughts with love. Are your tubes both clear and not letting toxic fluids into your womb. Have you had a hysteroscopy to check your womb out and biopsy the lining. Trying a coeliac diet to boost your immune system. I truly hope you have your much wanted family. Diane
I have had hysteroscopy and tubes and womb were okay.
Never thought about biopsy of lining so will discuss this with my doctor next week.
I am vegetarian so was eating mostly healthy except last year when things were not working the way I wanted and food was the only comfort - not saying completely living on junk, but will look into the coelic diet, haven't heard about this either.
I feel it's getting far to late and I do want family but it feels like maybe I am not that much bothered either. The feeling is due to exhaustion.
Hi, I’m 43 - nearly 44 and I’ve just had a little girl from DE. I just wanted to share because this was me at one point. I had tried unsuccessfully with my own eggs for 2 cycles and then gone for a round of DE. Got 3 ‘outstanding’ blasts (my clinic don’t grade). Got excited for the first one thinking it would definitely work - BFN. Then the second - BFN. So frustrating. Then did the EMA, Alice and ERA and found I needed probiotics and an extra 30 hours of progesterone before transfer. With this my third DE transfer worked and is 4 weeks old today! I remember thinking it would never work for me but eventually it did. Good luck x
I feel for you, it's hard but I am glad that has worked out for you.
I did not have EMA, Alic and ERA test but had laparoscopy and that was years ago after first failed cycle , they removed scarred tissues of endometriosis. Since then not checked, will bring this to my next consultation.
