I've had a positive pregnancy which involved bleeding (more red than brown), probably around the 4 week mark, so I would not necessarily conclude that something has gone wrong. Nevertheless, it would be good to ask your clinic to do a scan asap, just to give you the reassurance and check all is still well. Good luck.
Hi. I’m sorry but we don’t allow pictures of spotting etc so I have deleted it. This could be due to irritation or a bit of infection. Drink plenty of water to make lots of clear urine, and keep up with all prescribed medication, including folic acid and vitamin D. Test on the day recommended by your clinic. Put pessaries into back passage if you want to give the front a rest. Good luck. Diane
Thank you. Spoke to my clinic and they reassured me this was common. Thankfully as the day has went on the spotting and cramping has calmed down. Really appreciate the reassurance. I’ve never been pregnant before so it’s all new to me.
Hi, I had spotting at 5 weeks for about 4 days which was brown blood then again at 8 weeks. This was with my son and pregnancy went fine after. Clinic said could have been irritation or implantation. I hope you can get a scan and some reassurance. X
Thank you. Clinic reassured me that it’s normal and my spotting has calmed down as the day went on. Was told not to worry unless it went on for days or started going red.
