Day of ovitrelle for FET and what happens if I naturally ovulate before please?

Hi I am looking for advice please ref ovitr*l*e trigger, what day of your protcol have you had your injections please for a FET? I’ve always had mine on day 12, but this time I am not in the clinic abroad until day 13 and I am not having it until after I’ve had my scan on that day.

I am really worried if I ovulate naturally this will mess up my FET? Please does anyone have any advice? What happens if I do ovulate before I arrive as I have naturally ovulated on day 12 and 13 in the past? Thank you xx

Hi there,

I am not sure I have understood correctly. Are you going for a transfer or egg retrieval?

I can share my experience about ovitrelle which I only used for egg retrieval.

I was in stims from day 3 and from day 8 I also started orgalutran which I believe prevents ovulation.

On day 10 at 22:30 I did the ovitrelle which triggered ovulation and I went for egg retrieval on day 12 in the morning.

I'm not sure I understand your question but from when you take your trigger shot , retrieval must be within 36 hours .With regards to your post, it seems like your saying you'll be taking your trigger shot on day 13?

It shouldn't matter what day it is because you should be on another injection to prevent ovulation. . Then you take your trigger shot which is the final injection before collection
