I started taking cyclogest 2 days ago and have felt so dizzy and spaced out since. Is this a normal side effect which passes? Really want to stop taking them

Hi, For my transfer I was on 400mg Cyclogest, morning and night, I would feel overwhelmingly tired after each suppository. I feel your pain, without caffeine and sugar to perk you up, it's really hard to build up your resilience to it, especially if you get pregnant which made me extremely exhausted too.

I wasn't dizzy though, might be worth chatting to your clinic for some advice x

Hi. You need to drink lots more water. It works on the pituitary gland in the braain, so water helps dilute the medication, so it is absorbed more easily. I would take paracetamol for pain, and keep away from anti inflammatories such as ibuprofen. Hope all settles down. Diane
