Cyclogest can cause irritation but I don't think it should itch! Can you try using them rectally? Might find that less uncomfortable. I'd call the clinic to see what they think x

If they're not working for you, your clinic can prescribe progesterone injections instead. Mention it to them!

Hiya. I found cycolgest uncomfortable down there. Moreover, I felt most if it fell out of me when I used them vaginally. You clinic might be able to give you an injectable alternative. I use both Lubion and Lentogest. Lubion is injected subconsciously into the belly fat and Lentogest is intramuscular in your upper bottom. They both hurt, especially the Lentogest which uses an enormous needle but I love the piece of mind of knowing that I'm getting the whole dose of medication.

Hi rainbowhope thank you for your reply and yes you are right it’s really very uncomfortable down there.. I have sent an email to my clinic hopefully they sort out something today. And will also try to ring them as well... I probably go for the Lubion... how long you have to take the progesterone before the transfer?

I think I was on the lubion only 5 days before transfer but I have the Lentogest twice per week as a top up. Had it today actually so my right side of my butt hurts.

Not what you're looking for?
