Progesterone in FET cycles IVF

Hello everyone,

Just wanted to know from those of you doing IVF : For any of you who have done an FET completely on HRT and not an NC-FET or a NC medicated FET, what was your progesterone dose( PIO and Vaginal capsules) and for how many weeks into the pregnancy did you keep taking it?

I was on 2x 200mg pessaries a day plus 1 lubion injection (due to history of previous early bleeding and loss). Kept going until 12 weeks x

hello! I was on 2 cyclogest pessaries per day + daily injection of Prontogest (PIO). I started 5 days before transfer and then stopped cold turkey at 12 weeks.

Hi, for my one and only successful transfer it was a double frozen transfer - hrt. I was on 400mg cyclogest 3 times a day: 9:00, 15:00, 21:00 and on the day of the transfer I was on lubion injections.

Hi! For my successful transfer I was on 4 x 400 mg cyclogest twice per day and Crinone gel mid day. I started weaning at 12 weeks and stopped the progesterone completely by 14 weeks. I should say that this dose was determined based on blood tests two days before the FET and on the day of the transfer. Everyone absorbs progesterone differently so it is best to ask for tests to determine the dose that is appropriate for you. Very best of luck!
