positive pregnancy test but bleeding

morning, I’m in such a state. Yesterday was my test day, I had experienced some bleeding on Saturday but not a lot. The test came back positive which is great! However I spent the day bleeding, not enough for a period but still had intermittent cramping. Done another test last last night and still said positive. This morning however I have been bleeding more… it’s heavier than yesterday but not sure if it’s enough for a period still as I only ever use tampax so cant really compare. I called my clinic today and went in for HCG test (get the result later this evening). I’m just so confused and worried, why/how do I get two BFP but then bleed and cramp?!

Hi. Early spotting is common, but see what the hCG says. Meanwhile keep up with any prescribed medication and drink lots of water in case there is a bit of infection. Avoid constipation. Good luck. Diane

Hi I hope you got reassuring hcg beta. Bleeding is really stressful. I'm 10 weeks and have been Bleeding and spotting since 2week wait.

Thanks so much ladies, the HCG came back at 52, so need to have more done Wednesday. I have passed 2 clots today too… but, I have been laying down most of the day trying to rest! X
