Positive pregnancy test while downregging

I’ve been downregging for just over 2 weeks for my first FET. My boobs have been agony and I’m knackered. My period was due over a week ago but hasn’t arrived so I bought a test last night, and the result this morning was positive. I’m in a state of shock, panic, disbelief. Is there anything in the Suprecur nose spray that could give a false positive?

That made me test? Boobs are agony and swollen but I thought it was the nose spray. Something in my gut was telling me to test as I don’t feel the same as I did the last time I downregged. X

I’m trying not to get excited as it can’t be possible, can it? I’ve never had a positive pregnancy test in my life. I’ll call as soon as they are open. In utter shock as this FET was the last go for me and I’ve kind of resigned myself to the fact that I won’t have a child.x

I don't know your background but surely it's possible? Yes I would call your clinic asap as I don't know about that spray...but I did just google it and it says it has no hcg in it so can't give false positives!!!

No, if it’s positive it’s not from

The suprecur, you’re almost certainly pregnant. Ring your clinic as soon as they open as you’ll probably find they tell you to stop the drugs. You could ask them if they’ll do a blood test xx

I actually feel like crying from worry/panic etc. Utterly shocked but worried it’s not true. Argh, hurry up clinic and open.x

Phoned the clinic and they said to stop the nose spray. Looks like the result is correct. Scan is booked for 13 September so just a waiting game now. Thanks for all your replies. I’m still in utter shock and can’t believe it. I’m going to have to test some more tonight just to make sure it’s real. Miracles do happen but I’m trying to keep realistic as it’s very early days. At 41, this is my first positive test ever!x

I had a massive fibroid which made me infertile and it was removed in 2016. Trying all that time and nothing so had IVF this year and bled before test day. Literally had sex once before downregging and here I am. Unbelievable.x

Exciting news Noobs congratulations. I remember one other lady in this forum who a couple of days ago posted saying she got a positive pregnancy test while downregging for her medicated FET. My best wishes to you for a healthy pregnancy.

Hey Noobs, same thing happened to me last week !!!!

I went for a scan and they couldn’t see a sac or anything but they said it was likely to be too early. Got some drugs and need to go back in two weeks....

Freaking out as my sore nipples are no longer sore and i have no symptoms but just have to wait now. Good luck and congrats 😃

Wow really? It’s mad isn’t it. I was due to go on next Wednesday for my baseline

Scan but they recommended I go in the following week now instead. My boobs are still agony but that’s all the symptoms I have. How many weeks are you? Congrats to you too.x
