Hi! Im due to go to a wedding in Spain which doesn’t start until 5.30pm. I need to take my lubion injection and cyclogest with me. Wedding is outside in the heat. Any clever ideas on how to keep the medication cool? I thought about a cooler bag. Will this do the trick? Anyone done this before? Thank you.

A cooler bag with an ice pack should do the trick! Then in the fridge whenever you can.

I recently went to Spain and it was so hot that my pessaries melted, I posted on here for advice and also managed to get hold of my clinic and was told that keeping them in the fridge would be gone.

Enjoy!!!

A freezer bag with ice packs should definitely do the trick to keep your medication cool in the heat. Just make sure the meds don’t come into direct contact with the ice packs, and you’ll be all set. Enjoy the wedding! x

Agree with the other suggestions. An cooler bag with ice pack shoukd help. I also used to put iced water bottles/cold soft drinks in there too. That way you can help yourself when you get hot too.

I bought an insulin cooler to keep my injections cool. I got it off amazon. DISONCARE 60H Insulin Cooler... amazon.co.uk/dp/B07K9FJGLJ?...

Yes. A cool box is good. Make sure your wrap ice packs in plastic bags first of all and put in a towel to separate them. I would use a large cool box with several smaller ice packs. Also get a temperature reader to put just on top to monitor temperature. You might need to replace ice packs every 3 hours. A cool box is better than cool bag. Just make sure temperature inside is not above 24 degrees.

Thank you everyone for your messages. My bloods have come back and my progesterone is a little high so fresh transfer has been cancelled. Xx
