hi all, I am about to start treatment for a DE transfer. My protocol is from day 1 to have progynova 3 times a day. Then a scan at 12-14 days followed by progesterone.
My previous FET transfers (with OE) have had ceteotide injections for 5 days.
This is a slightly different protocol without the down reg. Should I be pushing for the down reg meds or trusting the process and my clinic of the above plan?

Quite often a FET starts with a single prostap injection for down regulation. This is to prevent a follicle growing. Then estrogen tablets and then progesterone.
Some times they don't use it because the estrogen tablets might stop follicles from growing but it's not always the case. I had a cancelled FET because of ovulation.
That's the two versions of medicated FET I had. Never used cetrotide for FET. Only in fresh cycles
Hi, I used buserelin to down-regulate prior to all of my donor FETs, which could be because I had some previous cancelled cycles due to ovulation. I would ask your doctor/nursing team.
I took progynova during my treatment using DE. I was then on progesterone injections (Lubion) until I was 14 weeks pregnant. My baby girl is 7 weeks old now!
