So today should have been our final fet cycle transfer day but for the second time.... It's been abandoned for having fluid in my uterine cavity. I'm gutted as we don't know why this keeps happening.
Has anyone ever gone through this before?

No experience I'm afraid, I just wanted to send you a quick hug, this must be really frustrating. I hope you can get some answers and try again soon xxx
Hi I havenāt, but wanted to say how sorry I am, I really hope you find answers soonā¤ļøxx
Thank you lovelies x I've been told if it happens again on our next go then they will have to aspirate the fluid on the day before my transfer with a catheter š xx
Sorry to hear this š
I had the same last week and itās so disappointing. My lining also wasnāt thick enough and apparently never has been but I did have the triple layer š¤·š»āāļø
Iāve been advised to have a hysteroscopy done which on NHS is about an 8 week waiting list š but Iām not sure if thatās because of the lining or the fluid. I have an appointment at my clinic today to discuss it as I only received a phone call to say stop meds as they were cancelling transfer so I donāt feel very clear on it all.
I did read that if the fluid is less than 3.5mm it can resolve itself but any larger would need to be removed.
How was your lining looking?
Itās really hard but it is for the best, embryos are precious and their home needs to be perfect for them ā„ļø Xxx
My lining was great it was fluke on our last cycle in Sept they did a scan as my bladder wasn't as full as they needed and they saw the fluid. So this time they planned in a scan the morning my transfer was planned. I feel I may have had similar on my last miscarriages as the once I did mention I felt like I'd wet myself and lost a load of fluid but was told that it was normal.
I'm glad they are being careful especially as it's our last embryo but I just feel like I'm in limbo if that makes sense xx
I really hope they can get you sorted as well sweets xx
Ah so itās clear the fluid doesnāt affect the lining then. Yes I know exactly what you mean. Whats your next step now?
My consultant said today that although you can have successful transfers even if there is fluid, they canāt ignore its there which I guess is the right thing.
Thank you, as soon as Iāve had my hysteroscopy I should be good to go so hopefully not too long a wait xxx
They said basically it would be like putting the embie into a swimming pool so it wouldn't stick to the uterus. I got a bfp on my last 2 mc but then lost both pregnancies around 5/6 weeks so never got to my first scan. Xx
Iāve been through abandoned cycles so I know how frustrating and heartbreaking it is. I hope youāre ok!! Xxxx
