Lubion time

Hi all, it's me again.

So my clinic told me today to get the Lubion injections ASAP because my progesterone levels were low yesterday (tested 1h before my FET).

Of course I panicked and took it as soon as possible but the thing is that I would prefer to take the injections at evening. It wouldn't interfere with my work, all side effects would mainly happen when I will be sleeping.

But I don't know now if I can just change the time after taking it today around 12:30. I asked my clinic if it matters what time a day and how to space out all my progesterone if I'm taking pessaries at 7, 14 and 21. And all I've got in reply was - it doesn't matter what time during the day but I need to pick a time and keep it the same every day till OTD.

And I just don't want to stuck at taking Lubion at 12:30 because they told me to start taking it ASAP....

Am I over panicking? Did any of you changed time of Lubion injections and it was ok?

Hi Glaedy, in all my Lubion FETs I took my first dose in the evening following transfer (7pm) and then switched the next day to 7am. I asked the consultant and they said that was fine, but just to do the change once, stick to it and not leave a gap of more than 24 hours. Hope that helps x

I would just change it to evening now to be honest! I changed my time from 8pm to 5pm when I was on holiday so I could take it before we went out for the evening with my family and now I’m home last night I changed it back to 8pm (so that it’s after work) you’ve only had it once so moving it to permanent evening should be fine just take it will your 9pm pessary the lubion is a top up one anyways. You might be in it for quite a number of weeks so defo change it now! 🤗 xx
