pcos girls? Fet success stories?
PCOS girly, I haven’t had success … yet! My fresh ended in a chemical and I’m in TWW with a FET. Good luck! X
PCOS girly here and I'm currently 26 weeks pregnant with my little boy who was a FET. As someone with PCOS my FET was a lot more straight forward as my ovaries had gotten so big during stims before my fresh transfer. Sending you luck x
pcos here too! Had two fet cycles in total. One, resulted in miscarriage and the other is now one! I found Fet cycles managed my cycle for me so were easier for me. I had three fresh cycles which were two bfn and a chemical.
I have PCOS too. No fresh transfer due to OHSS. My second FET worked. Very best of luck! I hope you get a sticky one
Hello! A PCOS girl here too. 2019 given 0 chances of a natural pregnancy. Did 3 IVF treatments. 1st no embryos, 2nd 2 embryos - 1st FET ended in chemical, 2nd FET mmc at 12 weeks, 3rd 1 embryo - fresh transfer, BFN. So in 2022 stopped with IVF because I was going through a very dark depression. Last year we moved back to our country, did our wedding, went on a marvellous honeymoon, bought a dog, got new jobs and currently going through the process of adoption. Wishing you good luck 🤞🤞🤞 but know when is time to put a stop and enjoy life!
PCOS girl here. Could not do a fresh transfer because of OHSS, first FET was positive but I had a miscarriage, second FET official test day was yesterday and I’m pregnant, hoping all goes well this time🤍 try to stay positive 🤞🏽
I have PCOS too, just found out I’m pregnant last week. My first round failed as had no blastocysts this time I got 4. I did the long regime which was full on but I think my body reacted better to this than the short protocol xxx
hello, PCOS girl here. Couldn’t do a fresh transfer due to the risk of OHSS. Currently holding my son in my arms 💙 good luck and baby dust!
Hi, I have PCOS. Have been on Metformin prescribed to make period regular for many years. Was told to pause it at some point of my fertility treatment (unfortunately, cannot remember at what stage). Not sure whether Metformin played any role. Didn't have fresh because of OHSS. 1st FET failed. On the 2nd FET I had two blastocysts transferred, one of which I miscarried at 7 weeks, however, the second stayed with me. I'm pregnant now.
Wishing you luck. Don't give up!
PCOS girl here! And a geriatric first time mum at 37 years of age 😂
First round got 12 eggs (from one ovary as my right ovary disappeared behind my uterus and has stayed there ever since) but had we had total fertilisation failiure from natural fertilisation.
2nd round, 17 eggs, 13 fertilised via ICSI and froze 2 5 day old embryos.
Didn’t do any fresh transfers due to OHSS
Waited 3 months for OHSS to pass and my hormones to return to normal following stims.
1st embryo transfer (frozen) I did 5 days of letrizole from second day of period prior to ovidrel trigger and it was successful - got my BFP at 5dp5dt and currently 19 weeks pregnant with a girl 💖
Just take your time and give your body chance to reset inbetween procedures rather than rushing - my fertility specialist strongly advised against fresh transfers from day one - she said people with PCOS see a much lower success rate transferring straight off the back off egg collection and stimulation
PCOS gal too! Had once collection - 36 eggs collected, 26 fertilized, 10 made it to blast and 6 were pgt normal. We did a mix of icsi and natural fertilization. Never had a fresh transfer because my clinic strongly advised against it. First two fets I had total implantation failure. Third stuck with a modified natural transfer - currently 10+3 weeks!
