Last month I had a biopsy to confirm the treatment for chronic endometritis had worked (which did!) and we were waiting for my next period to start the prep for the FET. I have been spotting since Monday (2 days before my period due date) but it's extremely light, just spotting and not like a period at all. The clinic says they will take as if my period started yesterday for the prep work, but not clarified if it's normal. You are my most useful source of information and support, so I thought of checking if anyone else has had this experience before and whether is normal? I'm still trying to speak with the consultant but it seems they are not too bothered.

What day did you do your biopsy in your cycle? My only experiences have been at the end of my cycle anyways so my period has always come very quickly. Just for context....
I did one last year and it was day 21 (8DPO) and my cycle started a little earlier on day 24 (11DPO) but it was heeeeavy. I just had another one done for research purposes and had it done 11DPO (won't say the cycle day number as my cycles have been a little messed up but it was deffo 11 DPO) and I started my period two days later at 13DPO - which is normal for me. This one has also been quite heavy.
I was told a biopsy shouldn't affect your period too much, though my experiences I've found that it has made it heavier rather than lighter. Doesn't mean that others haven't experience a lighter period post biopsy though, everyone is so different it's hard to suggest that anything is 'normal' as it might not be for you!!
Hopefully your period will come properly soon - I guess really your clinic should get you in for a scan as if your lining is thick even after the spotting then your period still needs to come!
Thanks for response Esb27! They have not proposed anything, only said that I must be having a lighter period and that still counts for them. They've booked me for a scan next week to baseline and start the prep for FET... I'm very confused as I was expecting my period to get heavier after the CE treatment and biopsy last month (they did it on day 9 of my cycle, before ovulation). As you say, everybody is different, which doesn't really help!
