Donor egg hopes

Just wanted to say that even though it is a very hard decision and a very individual journey, once the baby is in your hands all that fear and sadness from lack of genetics, is clouded by the unconditional love someone can feel once that baby arrives after 9 months.

It is also incredible how epigenics works, as your blood is mixed with this baby blood inside you!

I don’t know what the future holds but for now I just want to give people hopes on that very hard step, but once you made it, believe me love overcomes all!

This is so lovely to hear, as I’m pregnant with a donor egg embryo. I already feel a lot of love for the baby x

Double donor pregnancy 13+4. The only time I think about her being from donors is when people comment on babies looking like either parent. But then I think, well I have friends whose kids look nothing like their mum!

Funnily enough the only time I think about it is when people tell me my daughter looks like me and I know she doesn’t because she’s DE! x

Ha! I’m hoping I get the same. My donors are Spanish and I get mistaken for Spanish with my dark skin hair and eyes 😁

It was lovely to read your post. Thank you 😊 I am going to the Czech Republic 9th July (if all goes to plan) for IVF with donor eggs. I am 42 in July. I've felt very judged by our fertility counsellor for using a donor abroad so I've decided to end the sessions and find someone else. I really don't think anyone understands unless they've been through it which is why this forum is so amazing! Your post gives me so much hope.
