Just had my scan for my FET next week and they said my lining is perfect 8mm I think they said. However they have found another 5cm simple cyst on my ovary π they said I could still go ahead with the transfer but it might put more stress on my body when it ruptures and they have kind of left if up to us on whether to carry on or not. I had a cyst this size in October which caused issues with egg collection but luckily it ruptured in time before EC (causing the worst pain) they said my body just produces them very often and it may take months to go and another could develop. Has anyone had the same and still had a successful transfer/pregnancy? Could it cause miscarriage? My stupid body letting me down again π do I wait or go ahead? Any advice ππ«

Hi Littlepeax, I always check in to see how you are doing βΊοΈ So excited for you that you are able to have your transfer soon, sorry that you are having to face this difficult decision though. If your body produces them regularly and they take a while to go it seems like you might face this same decision in the future and I know how long you have waited to get to this point and really admire your perseverance and strength. I think unless it can cause complications (hopefully youβll get some advice here) then Iβd say go for it. Sending love x
So lovely to hear from you Keepingfaith β€β€β€ how is bubs doing? How old now!? Go on scare me lol time just goes crazy quick. Thanks so much for your advice, really hard to decide especially when the clinic leaves it in our hands π I'm mentally ready to go ahead with it that's the hard part with putting it off xxx
Heβs doing well thank you. Heβs 16 months now πAh yeah itβs the worst when they say itβs up to youβ¦ you want them to just tell you one way or the other but Iβm sure theyβd advise you against if it was of huge concern. Youβd hope so at least! Iβve been reading a bit online as Iβm sure you have and seems like itβs rare to impact on the pregnancy but I donβt know if it effects implantation I didnβt see about that.
Thatβs so brilliant that you feel in the right headspace that is so important I think. I really hope this next transfer is the one! It will be third transfer wonβt it? Will it be another double? X
Aww is he really π₯° I bet you're an amazing mum. Hope all is going well with everything. Thanks for looking online π€ so kind and thoughtful of you. Yeah I've read the same thing. Nothing about an FET and having a large cyst. Yes will be 3rd go. Not sure if I'm going to do 2 now because of cyst just in case. Was feeling positive lol but still unsure what to do. Need to do more research i think. Really dont want to waste any embryos xxx β€
Ahh thank you. Iβm so hoping that itβs third time lucky for youπππ that was what it was for me!That sounds like a sensible approach transferring the one embryo. I think if you are all geared up for it itβs such a shame not to give it shot. What does hubby think?
Great lining too, Iβm pretty sure thatβs what mine was when it was successful. On other ones it apparently got too thick which I didnβt even know was a thing! Xx
Thanks hun π€ my hubby laughed and said embie is only tiny the cyst won't matter π€ he kept saying it and it made me giggle lol. I'm still taking meds and might have another scan before FET to see if any change then will decide. Thanks so much for messaging and looking things up. Really appreciate it β€ so nice to hear from you. Big hug to your baby boy xxx
Hey lovely,
Sorry youβre having to make a difficult decision π I would agree with the Keepingfaith, if itβs something thatβs going to happen regularly for you, which it sounds like it is, I would be inclined to go ahead and give the transfer a chance. Really hope this is the one for you xx
Sending you lots of good luck with whatever decision you make Thinking of you
Janet
Ugh, I hate it when something random crops up! Sorry love. I'd be inclined to just go for it if it looks like it might just happen again anyway if you postpone, particularly if it's more the case that it could cause discomfort than it might cause problems for the embryo. I presume they wouldn't let you have the choice to transfer if they were really it would stop implantation?
Dammit!! You just can't catch a break πI agree with the other ladies - if they are giving you the choice, they must think it won't impact implantation..... otherwise they would straight out say no.
I'd be inclined to crack on at this stage.
xx
Oh nice lining! My friend had a cyst in her successful fresh transfer. I think I remember her telling me that it caused a bit of pain (or bleeding not sure now) early in pregnancy. Otherwise she was ok and so was her baby. π€ it goes away before your transfer.
What does your heart say? If the clinic gives you a choice juts go for it, if it was really an issue they would of told you to better wait. Whatever you decide I wish you all the luck in the world πΊβΊοΈππππxxx
I think we will transfer buddies. I have been cleared for transfer on 3/11. I had my ultrasound today as well. Praying for successful transfers and healthy pregnancies for the both of us!! My uterine lining was 11cm today and bloodwork looks good. My original transfer was suppose to tomorrow but I had a follicle mature and had to wait for my cycle to finish. 1 week delay, no biggie. Iβm ready now!!
Hey lovely π. All my delays were cysts! Had numerous operations over doing IVF. Iβve had numerous rupture in the past too. Last one on this fet was around 15cm!!! We decided to have it drained and took over 1.2ltrs but couldnβt get it all so itβs about 4cm now. We went ahead with transfer and as you know got our BFP and am nearly 18wks. We keep an eye on the cyst at every scan and itβs causing no issues.
As itβs a simple cyst I would go ahead π€
Give me a message if you want to know anything about cysts π₯΄ Iβve definitely got the T-shirt lol xx
Hi Littlepeax,I went for my lining scan on Tuesday and also have a cyst. Iβve had them on previous cycles too and doctors have always been happy for us to proceed with transfers . No successful transfers yet , had a chemical in December last year so all ready for our 6th transfer next Monday .
I would go ahead and give it a a chance , your linings good !
Wishing you lots of luck. Looks like we will be in the 2ww together β€οΈ
Thanks so much for your message. Do you know how big yours is and is it a simple cyst? Sorry to hear about your chemical π hopefully this time is your time β€π sounds like you've been through so much. Glad you can still proceed. I might just go for it! X
Hiya , they said just over 1cm . They didnβt really say anything else just that the doctor would review it . I didnβt hear anything and my transfer is booked so All was ok .Is your transfer booked ?
The chemical was hard but just got to keep going xx
Ahh ok. Hope your transfer goes well β€ no date yet as my consultant has since said she wants to scan me again tomorrow and go from there. She said if it's got ant bigger we will probably need to cancel π hopefully it's got smaller as my lining is ready and so am I! Defo have to keep going that's the spirit π₯°π
Hello,
Have they ever mentioned anything about having it drained? I had a cyst prior to my last egg collection. My doc said we could drain it. It was a simple enough procedure (I was shocked how much fluid came out!) And I proceeded to have a much better egg collection than my first round. Would this be an option?
Update: Cyst has completely gone after one week! Didn't do anything different it just went ππ«β€ doctor in shock. Best timing π my hubby came to the scan so they said it was because of him being lucky. Transfer booked for Monday. Lining 11mm now π³ So ready for this β€β€β€ come on!! Thanks to everyone for your kind helpful messages xxx
That's fantastic news!! WOohooo!!!Bring it on! xxx

Yeeyyyyy brill newsβ¦. Come on little embabies xxx π
