Today my first FET was cancelled as it appeared the meds to stop the ovaries producing follicles didn’t work. Am gutted.
I started this process in January. In February they found a polyp so the fresh cycle got pushed back. In March, I had a scan and there was no sign of a polyp so we started the fresh cycle in April. Another polyp was found during that cycle so it ended in a freeze all. I then had a hysteroscopy to remove the polyp in June and started the FET last month. I feel like I will never get to the transfer stage at this rate!
Anyway, I guess what I wanted to ask was if anyone else has had a medicated FET cancelled for this reason and what happened after? They are talking of trying another FET in two cycles’ time without modifying the drugs. So I fear this will just happen again.

Aww I’m really sorry to hear you’ve had it cancelled!!! I no how your feeling as we had our natural fet cancelled!!! We’re now on with our medicated fet!!
What medication did you take you have to stop your ovaries producing????
I had decapaptyl injection on day 21 then I’ll start progynova once I’ve had a scan to check the injection worked!! Then I’ll use the pessaries 5 days before transfer, if we get that far xx
All the best for your cycle. I have to start pessaries tomorrow for a few days just to bring on a bleed. How depressing to have it cancelled and have to carry on with the meds. 😞 x
