2DP5DT FET - low sitting cervix when inserting pessaries

Hi all,

I’m 2PD5DT on my second FET. I had a successful fresh cycle 4 years ago and have had 1 failed FET since then.

Apologies if this is TMI but ive noticed since my transfer i can only insert my pessary so much before i’m ‘stopped’. Can only presume my cervix is sitting low which ive read means you are not pregnant.

The agony of the TWW is awful 😞. Am i doing the classic ‘clutching at symptoms’ or is this a clear sign my second FET is a failure?

its a bit early in your cycle if you are only 2 days post for your cervix to have lowered in the way it shows end of your cycle. It usually happens just before period and (for me) can be a sign that it hasn’t worked but defo not that early on and I also thought it was low on successful ones so it’s not an exact science. It’s more likely that your cervix is inflamed from pessaries etc. at this stage 🤗 I wouldn’t take that to mean anything you are still very much on track for it to work 🤞🏽 xx

As Twiglet says, its super early for your cervix to have reacted either way. at 2dp 5dt your embryo likely won't have even implanted yet, so won't be releasing HCG and therefore your cervix won't know to go higher...

It's probably irritation from the pessaries - you can try using the back door if it's easier (check with your clinic though)

Honestly it's way too early to be having symptoms / signs yet.

Good luck xx
