Unfortunately our first cycle of IVF was a big old fail, we didn’t even get to the transfer stage! After a very painful egg collection I was told they had collected 10 eggs, which I was over the moon with. The next day our embryologist called with some bad news - 5 of the “eggs” were actually empty sacks and not much better for the remaining 5 - 1 fertilised abnormally, 2 did nothing and 2 disintegrated. I now have to wait over a month for our follow up call to find out more.
I wanted to ask if anyone else had had similar results? Does anyone know if these outcomes are common? And does anyone have any helpful and realistic tips to increase egg health before we start again in the summer?
Thank you!

hi very sorry to hear that. But please stay positive every cycle is different from next one. Please read a book called (its start with the egg by revival fett. And follow it accordingly. You can order from Amazon. My first cycle failed badly but after following this book my second cycle out come amazing please you follow as well. And stay positive. Also start taking proxeed women improved formula as well proxeed men give it to your partner. Good luck 🤞
I just had my 3rd cycle. I just had two follicles his time with one egg retrieved. I am not very hopeful that it will make it. I was not well back in December and had fallen sick a couple of times in Jan so it could be due to that or my AMH or AFC! I have been thinking about all this but don’t know if it can be attributed to that.
I took some of the supplements from the book like alpha lipid acid, NAC ubiquinol. Has proxeed been recommended by the book? I can’t remember!I have been taking wild nutrition supplements since they are naturally sourced.
What else did you do differently? I have always used steel pans for cooking and have been cautious about plastics since a very long time .
Can I ask what your AMH is? Mine is on the lower side so it could be because of that I had just two follicles this time. Previously I had 8 and 6 eggs respectively so it’s a big drop this time.
