Day 3 egg transfer. Grade 2/3 and only 4 cells... need hope!

I'm a 34 year old endo and prem ovarian failure sufferer. Our last 2 rounds resulted in no eggs, this round is our final try with my own eggs before I turn 35.

They collected 2 eggs 3 days ago, but only one fertilised.

I was feeling hopeful about the little one, but the Lab called this morning on our way to the clinic - our egg was slow to divide overnight. It divided well yesterday, but only spilt to 4 cells today. Also, it's also only grade 2-3.

They gave us the decision whether to put it back in or wait to see how it does over the next few days. We decided it was safer in than out. So it's in. I know it's all just a waiting game now, but it would be great to hear some positive success stories from people who have won this battle. To get me through the 2WW!

Has anyone had success from a day 3 transfer with a grade 2-3 4 cell egg??

I've never thought too much about the grading. If the embryologist thought it was good enough to transfer, that was always ok with me.

Thank you. I think the bigger concern is the slow cell division... awful process!!

I had et yesterday 2 eggs grade 3 day 3 transfer. my friend got pregnant. Positive thoughts and take care of yourself x

Hi, sorry I don't have any positive stories for you but I have started the 2ww today aswell so just wanted to say I know how you feel and am wishing you lots of luck. Its in the best place now so try and stay positive. Good luck xx
