Down regulation (decapeptyl) - how long until period?

Hi all,

I am just about to start my second cycle of IVF and am doing a long protocol this time. Due to have my down regulation injection (decapeptyl) on Day 21. For anyone who has had this, I was wondering how long it took for your period to come after the injection? Did it arrive as usual or was it late/early?

Hi lovely,

I've only ever down regged with Provera tablets but my period usually arrives bang on time (after stopping the meds).

It may be delayed a couple of days or arrive at correct time - everyone reacts differently If still concerned check with your clinic for reassurance
