HCG shots after embryo transfer?

Did anyone use HCG shot after embryo transfer? Did it lead to success?

What kind of HCG shot did you use? Ovitrelle or something else? Was it one shot only or daily shots?

Not heard of trigger shot after transfer. I had ovitrelle 5 days before.

What’s a puncture?

Egg collection as UK people say. Puncture in NL.

I had 2 fresh transfers with ovitrelle given on transfer day as progesterone support. Didn't get any further progesterone support (pessaries or injections etc). Both were bfp's but ended in miscarriage. Don't think this was the reason for the miscarriage though.

I am so sorry to hear about your miscarriage. I hear a lot that it might be related to immunity problems. I hope you find a solution soon. Thank you for your answer.

I had twins 6 weeks ago. For me I think it was a case of finding the right embryo or embryos in my case!

Hi

So funny you asked this I was looking for people or posts about Hcg booster shots after transfer and its extremely hard to come by any information, most people havent even heard of it, it supposed to help with implantation, I have had a few failed transfers and my RE put me on hcg booster shots from transfer so Im taking 1/2 amp at a time of Ovitrille

Day of transfer

Day 4 post transfer

Day 6 post transfer

So 3 shots in total and thats it till beta, problem is im currently 9dpt but even though I have cramping and other symptoms you can never say if its the boosters or and embryo implanting, its very confusing, you just have to wait till beta day….Monday 29th …..have you started your booster?

Indeed difficult to find information. Thanks for sharing your experience. I am still waiting for the transfer day. I haven't started using hcg yet. I too have so many failed transfers unfortunately.
