Progynova

Hi everyone,I'm after some advice about progynova please. I've been prescribed progynova from day 4 of my current cycle, estimated to have a frozen transfer week commencing 29th April 🤞🏼 everything I'm reading about progynova seems to suggest it's for thickening the uterine lining. But I usually have a very thick lining anyway and am worried this is going to make it too thick. Is there such a thing as too thick?

Also on a side note, I've noticed my sweat smells totally different since being on it. Has anyone else noticed this?

Thanks 🤍 x

the Progynova is there to control your cycle so you won’t have a natural cycle and ovulate. They will then start progesterone to time the transfer.

If you want a natural cycle FET then you start progesterone after you ovulate.

Thanks for your response, that makes more sense. I feel like I harass my clinic with all my questions so thought I'd try and find the answer here instead for a change ☺️ xx

Glad to help! It gets confusing doesn’t it. But yes it’s just there as a sub for your own oestrogen and by switching off your cycle with it they have more control on timing of the transfer. Best of luck xx

Hi, how much did they prescribe? and don't worry they will scan you around day 6 or something like that so they will be able to alter the dosige then. Good luck x

They've prescribed me 4mg three times daily, so 12mg a day. I don't have a scan booked until day 15 of my cycle which I thought was quite long actually, day 6 sounds like it would make more sense xx
