Hi I have been having throat infection since last 5 days & I'm going for a ET early next month therefore I'm afraid of taking antibiotics if it would have some impact. Does anyone have any suggestion pls?

There are some antibiotics that are safe in pregnancy and therefore safe at this point, but i do know some antibiotics interact with birth control so may interfere with hormone meds; I would explain the situation to your doctor so they can prescribe appropriately. Throat infections can become really serious so it's important to be treated, and you want to be well for ET! Good luck and feel better soon xxx

check the antibiotics don’t not mix with any meds you are on with your GP or on the box but other than that I would go ahead. I actually think having treated your whole body with antibiotics prior to a transfer could be a good thing and you defo want to treat the throat infection but if you had any other infection then it should treat that too and a month away is plenty time to have hopefully fully recovered 🤗💜
