First ET tomorrow morning. Please share what you wish you knew prior to your transfer? Any recommendations or tips? 🐣💝

I had my first one 2 days ago! Just drink half an hour before until your bladders full! I only had 600 mls starting one hour prior and was massively full!!! They had to let me cautiously release some 🤣🙈 and just stay as relaxed as u can! It’s nothing like egg retrieval! xx

Can you elaborate on how it's different to egg retrieval? Do you mean not as bad? I went through that (egg retrieval) first time yesterday and also keen to know what to expect at transfer stage

It is literally no different to a smear! I didn’t feel the catheter going through my cervix at all. My retrieval was painful ended up with 2 lots of sedation as 21 eggs retrieved. But the transfer was pain free once the speculum was in xx

It will be fine 😊 just remember to drink the amount of water beforehand that they tell you to. The rest is out of your control. Some of mine have been a little tricky but never painful and it’s usually super fast. Good luck for OTD! Xx

Best of luck! The 2 week wait is hard so be prepared. Be kind to yourself, don’t overanalyse symptoms and don’t do a pregnancy test early. Thinking of you x

Enough water is definitely a top tip! My bladder wasn't full enough this time and I had to have it filled by catheter, very unpleasant!! Also try to stay busy during the 2WW, it drags like crazy x

Hi all the best for ur ET tomorrow.🤗 by looking at everyone’s comments seems like every clinic does it in a different way. My clinic didn’t do an ultrasound while they did the transfer so i didn’t have to have a full bladder..

I would say stay calm and relaxed enjoy every moment it is very special feeling.

I don’t know if I would ever get pregnant but that time I had a mummy feeling when I saw my little embbi 🥰...

I had my first ET yesterday.. (2 blastocysts) it was a very exciting but found myself feeling so shy as i was fully alert and awake unlike being sedated during egg retrieval, all modesty went out the window.

Since leaving the clinic i have been experiencing dull aching (Not cramping) it just felt like i was immediately pregnant and has continued all day today.

i hope this is a good sign.

best of luck with yours x
