I've been to the doctors for a lump and they have prescribed antibiotics. I'm worried that my ivf clinic will cancel my egg collection if I've got an infection. The medication is only a 7 day course so it should clear up a week before I'm even due to start the egg stimulation.
Anyone had this situation before? Am I worrying for nothing.

I think you should try next cycle because antibiotics can effects egg quality. You should tell your clinic clearly and get advice from them as they always make good decisions according to medical history and help you out.
Yes it’s good because no point to rush as egg quality is very important then anything else. As you know fertility journey is damn damn hard and according to me is more hard emotionally then physically or financially because you feel better physically but emotionally you can’t heal easily. It’s nerve wracking to be honest. I just had my second egg retrieval first cycle already failed now waiting for day 5 to get update for embryo and every second just giving me stress and anxiety. So it’s better to wait then to hurt yourself emotionally. Because I have read somewhere antibiotics definitely affects egg quality but still wait for clinic to reply and what is their suggestion.
