Food poisoning/ stomach bug in TTW

Since 10pm last night I have barely left the toilet everything has left me violently both ends. My throat is sore from stomach acid burning it, my stomach hurts as there's literally nothing left in my system. Everytime I have a sip of water it comes straight back up. So now I'm worried this will affect our chances of success. Anyone been is a similar position?

Hope you have people around you for support Keep sipping water- or suck on ice cubes for fluids Maybe get in touch with GP/clinic chemist for advice - may suggest rehydration drinks The wee embryo is as snug as a bug in a rug - hoping this is your time

Thank you, I did call my clinic and they just said nothing I can do but ride it out.

Hi, weirdly I had a severe migraine and vomiting last night after my FET in the afternoon. Not sure if it was food poisoning or a reaction to the medication at this point. I’m worried too that it’s affected my chances of a successful transfer. Are you definitely sure it was food poisoning? Try to rest up and take care xx

I definitely think it's a stomach bug now as everytime I drink even a little water within a few minutes it's coming out as bile either end. Had one bite of dry toast and it came straight back up. Sounds like you may just had a reaction to the meds. Fingers crossed 🤞 it works out for both of us.

Oh no, poor you. That sounds awful! 😞 So unfortunate that this has happened during your TWW. Just did some quick research online and people seem to say it doesn’t affect the embryo’s chance so fingers crossed.

Thank you. Fingers crossed for you too. 🩷

Yes I caught norovirus 6dp5dt and was constantly sick for 24 hours. I thought the embryo had no chance but I’m now 28 weeks 🤞🤞 try and stay hydrated xx
