Getting a bit nervous as im 10dpt and I'm getting a really sore in my stomach it feels really sensitive a sore. Getting some period type pains too what I think is normal from what I have read. But worries about my stomach. I am on progesterone so could be that. Has anyone else had the same problem? Xx

Are you taking any painkillers? NSAID's give you more stomach acid and progesterone works as an antiacid, it may also be morning sickness symptoms from the pill, I only experienced it on the combined pill but it's possible for both.

Also could you be constipated? Progesterone makes me constipated.

Thank you for your reply! I have been trying to avoid pain killers especially NSAID's, I suppose it may be constipation. I've been on the suppositories so it's possible. I'm getting quite a bit of heartburn too. Is that a sign of morning sickness? X

in reply toamie1

I think so I just felt like I didn't want to eat but heart burn is a sign of nausea.

I am 9dpt at the start I also had stomach aches but I think that's a side effect of the pessaries. I only have period type pains now as well. They were bad yesterday but have eased a bit today. Also getting a little brown sometimes when I wipe (sorry if tmi). I'm taking it easy for a few days to let my body rest, maybe you should do the same. Xx

Yeah I haven't done much really and I'm back to work tomorrow, I went to the gp and he gave me gavisgon and some laxido drink. Fingers crossed that does the trick. I'm getting the period type pains too but apparently that's possible signs of attaching so going with it. good luck x

P.s I'm also finding it really difficult & got a faint positive this morning! However I've previously has 2 chemical pregnancies so will test again to see if the line becomes stronger. Feeling apprehensive!

Yay!!! That's reassuring for me to hear that. Sounds like u had a similar morning to me! 😂👍 after my panic on Tuesday I told my husband that u had similar symptoms to me & a day ahead. I guess what I'm trying to say is that our correspondence has been a comfort to me so thanks. 😊

Hi amie1. Just read your post and wanted to add my comments if you don't mind. It is very common for your ovaries to remain a little active after stimulation. So if you have had a fresh cycle, it could probably be just down to that. You need to drink plenty of water, rest when you can and perhaps take some paracetamol for pain relief. This is quite safe, but keep off any anti-inflammatories such as ibuprofen. Hope all soon settles down. Thinking of you. Diane
