I am having a think about IVF abroad. Is anyone able to tell me what kind of time frames you would be expected to attend clinic? I am considering mild IVF - has anyone got any experience of natural/modified ivf abroad please?
I would really appreciate any feedback

I am 8dp5dt modified natural with my clinic in Spain. Timeframe was quick! Day 1 and 2 positive ovulation test, day 7 transfer!
I had positive on ovulation tests on Thurs and Fri, then had to fly out Sun, HCG wash Mon, transfer Wed.
It’s was all panic stations to book flights as found out 2pm Friday just as I was about to go to my lash appt where I obviously couldn’t open my eyes and look at flights! Plus I never go out anymore and had a table booked for 7pm for my birthday that night!Cue trigger shot in the toilets!!! 🙈
I have HCG wash 2 days before transfer so without that I could have flown out Tuesday (day before) so 4 days after ovulation.
I have been to my clinic countless times so I’m an old hand at where what when how etc. It’s stressful but totally doable and it’s an excited kind of stress that melts away as soon as flights are booked.
I’m lucky my clinic will do the transfer when it needs to be done. They told me don’t worry about Easter, transfer will be when it needs to be.
Hey, we have done multiple cycles in both Spain and Greece. I did all my scans in my own country and then needed to book to go out for either egg retrieval or frozen transfer with very little notice. I once was told at 6pm to be there in the next 2days so was on a flight the next day at 9am! The quick flight booking is a bit nerve wrecking and also shifting work around is no fun. So it's good to have already planned accommodation options and know what flights there are so it's easier on you although you can never fully know exactly as these blessed scans change timeframes when development is either faster or slower than expected! However as in the previous reply it is a good excitement as you're going for a cycle. Wishing you the best of luck. If you need anything feel free to pm.
