Tomorrow I will be going for my 2nd egg collection and am slightly worried that I don't feel as bloated or uncomfortable as I did the first time and automatically assuming the worse. My clinic have decided to do egg collection slightly earlier this time round as my follicles grew quite quickly the first time resulting in eggs that were too mature. Has anyone felt different before each egg collection?
Many thanks x

Yes. Not quite the same situation but my first cycle was cancelled at my day 10 scan as two follicles were huge and the rest had done nothing - and the clinic wanted to save my one nhs round. I felt bloated and horrible, even though nothing was really going on.
The next round i was the same as you in that i basically felt nothing except a bit bruised from needles. I literally expected the worst and had 12 eggs on egg collection, 11 of which were suitable for ICSI and fertilised.
I know it's hard, but try not to worry - I'm sure they wouldn't be doing the collection if they didn't think there was something there. Good luck!
Hi. They will have checked and counted your follicles for size. They can only be guided by follicle sizes, as there are no eggs in there until you have your trigger shot. Good luck. Diane
