I had the whole week off as egg collection was Monday and, as they got 3 eggs and only 1 fertilised, I was back in Wednesday for transfer. The 2ww is extremely hard. My official test date is Wednesday next week and I’m so nervous as I’ve been having period pains for the last few days. Good luck. Sx
I guess you just can’t tell which direction it will take and just have to go with how your body tells you. Good luck for next week! I’ve read people say the period pain could be implantation pain. I have everything crossed for you xx
I had egg collection last Tuesday and done trigger Sunday night as well.
Before I continued as normal and worked Monday as kept me distracted. Took day after off, mine wasn't too bad as the drugs helped maybe I had expected worse in my head. That's it see how you feel as everyone is different.
Allow yourself the time you need to take it easy. Get plenty of sleep. Eat well and drink lots of water. Listen to your body and don’t over do it. Best of luck for Tuesday xx
Same as the other ladies have said. Drink plenty of water, relax, take time off work if you want to. This time is about you. Good luck X
I felt quite bad after the second day. I worked from home the whole week (if you have the chance) and had a hot water bottle always in my belly. I was told I could have paracetamol twice a day which helped a lot.
I had my EC on a Tuesday and was off for the rest of the week afterwards (I work in a hospital). I could possibly have gone back on the Friday but only just. I just suddenly felt much better on the Friday but felt pretty rubbish up until then.
I was a bit overstimulated though and got loads of follicles & eggs so it might not be as bad for everyone. I had the transfer on the Sunday (day 5) and went back to work on the Tuesday as the Monday was a bank holiday. Definitely take the time off if you need it. Good luck xx
I got 7 eggs. 3 fertilised. And had 2 transferred at 3days. Unfortunately none frozen. I’m 6dp3dt (is that right?) and I’m feeling good now. I struggled a bit after collection with some pains (mainly due to them not being able to access my left ovary so that caused the majority of the pain) but am getting back to ‘normal’ now. Thank you for taking the time to ask xx
