I have rosacea which has been prescribed 3 months of doxycycline, I am keen to get it started as am in between cycles, but the end of the 3rd month will be when I'm due to have stems. I know its not recommended due to effects on the foetus but is there any harm when having stims and egg production?

Hi. Just to note that my fertility clinic prescribed me Doxycycline for 5 days prior to my fresh embryo transfer, because they said that it helps to create a favourable environment for embryo implantation…
I was prescribed this for 5 days prior to one of my cycles and my advice would be to have some gaviscon ready- it gave me awful heartburn!
it’s fine to take during stims, it’s just not advised during the TWW in case you are pregnant. Be sure to have a good drink after each capsule, if it sits in your oesophagus it irritates it.
