SO a lot of clinics prescribe doxycyline as standard for women during IVF with the idea in mind that the microbiota of the womb may affect implantation. Anyway, from what I can see there is NO solid evidence that it does this and I would really rather not take it soooo my question is has anyone else found the research?
Thank you xxx

I am starting on this now in my next cycle. I haven’t read much research either but my clinic is keen and thinks I should try it-I had a failure of a high grade embryo. When I have taken it before for an infection, it made me feel really nauseous......so I’m a bit nervous! Xx
I have had three failures but from I can see it isn’t an evidence based practice at all. And as a gal that has invested two years in getting my gut sorted I don’t want to take anything that is going to screw that up if there isn’t solid evidence.
