i had a miscarriage at 5 weeks after a frozen embryo transfer. They have given me two options: one is modified natural cycle and other is same previous method where I was given estrogen tablets patches and pessaries and had embryo transfer. I’m not sure which option is better. I had a positive pregnancy test with the second method. Shall I go for the same one again? Suggestions please

we went for medicated again after our early loss and he’s 4 this year and the second will be 2!

I’ve done medicated 3 times for FETs. first time was BFN, 2nd one was early loss at 5 weeks and 3rd one I am currently 11+6. 🤞🏼

Just because it happened in one cycle doesn’t mean it will happen again.. hope that’s helpful! Good luck xx

our fresh early loss was medicated and so were the next two. I didn’t trust my body the first time and I sure as hell wasn’t going to start to. We now have two boys from our only two Frosties 💙💙

Hi Eatdrink, I am currently weighing up the same dilemma! I'm on transfer 6 and it would be really nice not to have to take all the drugs but also, can I trust my body...? We have had top quality day 5 blasts, textbook perfect linings and no implantation (one early chemical). We are edging towards natural just because, after everything we have been through the last year and with no guarantee it is going to work soon, I don't know how many more medicated rounds I have left in me. Also, we feel the need just to try something different to get any kind of answer. But with no more embryos in the freezer, it is a risk...Let me know what you decide!

After 5 BFN and 1 chemical, all medicated bar 1, this time to try something different and to trust my body I’ve done modified natural - no meds, then trigger shot at positive ovulation test and now progesterone (plus clexane and prednisolone).

I was really worried even though my periods are still regular, about trusting my body. But it did what it was supposed to, my lining was 9.8mm at transfer, and I now have my last 2 🥶 🥶 this round on board 🙏🏼 🌈 🌈
