Hello everyone :) Does anyone have any success stories with a day 3 transfer? We are down to our last embryo which was in fact the first one we froze and as it was done 6 years ago back then it was standard at that clinic to freeze on day 3! Just looking for some positivity as feel the clinic we are at aren’t very positive about day 3s! X

Hi, I had a day 3 double frozen embryo transfer. After 4 unsuccessful fresh transfers and 1 cancelled transfer due to ohss risk, I got my first positive following a day 3 frozen transfer at the age of 43. Only one embryo stuck; one was 8 cells and the other was 7 cells. I hope this gives you hope.

Hi Crazyrabbitlady. When I first dtsrted in fertility, we only did three day transfers as we didn’t have the expertise to grow embryos to blastocyst. We still got around thirty-three per cent success rate, so well worth a go. Good luck. Diane
